Dawes are a SoCal Americana outfit who just released their debut album, "North Hills" at the end of September.
Already the album has the likes of JamBase.com claiming it a, "...future classic waiting to happen."
Only time can truly tell but I'll say that they're on to something, and the album released at the perfect time. The vocals and harmonies on a lot of the tracks just scream, "Autumn!" at me. You'll definitly hear that old time-y "Band" sound in them.
