These United States - Everything Touches Everything

I've featured the quickly rising act These United States on this blog in the past.

After having caught their set opening for Vetiver at Brooklyn's "The Bell House"...I came away very impressed by their sound and energy. (The amount of beer I sloshed on the floor from dancing was proof of this.)

They just released their 3rd studio album, "Everything Touches Everything" and along with it is the video for the title track:

You can expect great things to continue to come from this band...I recommend jumping on the train now!

The Phenomenal Handclap Band

Another electronic/indie act coming out of where else? NYC.

Though do not lob these extremely talented musicians into the same category as say, Ratatat or Discovery. Albeit similar...I get much more disco vibe from this music.

It's much poppier, easier to get into, and absurdly catchy.

Here's a video for, what I'd imagine to be their first single as I'm seeing it crop up among a few other blogs today:

I recommend you check their MySpace here, in particular the track, "All of the Above" which I couldn't find a video for.
