Weezer and Weezy, that's a lot of weez.

Weezer's last studio effort, "The Red album" proved to be a grower. One of those albums that I simply didn't approve of until listening to it a handful of times. At which point it became tolerable. Not the greatest thing ever, but good, tolerable, Weezer-esque music.

Their next album, "Raditude", is due out November 4th of this year. I fear it may fall into the same category as the last, but they are certainly moving in new directions.

Take for instance this track, "Can't Stop Partying" which features none other than Lil Wayne. (who himself has a highly anticipated rock...yes, rock...album coming out titled, "The Rebirth".)

Best Cover You'll Hear All Month

Now this is awesome! Weezer took the time at a show in May to bust out back to back cover's.

They start with dead on impression of MGMT's, "Kids" and then segue into Lady Gaga's, "Poker Face".

This is a direction I like...a rock act mixing up their show with some solid pop covers.

The video is straight from Weezer's YouTube channel, so the vid/sound quality is great, perfect for blasting at your next party.



On a side note: Does it bother you when you get a cup of coffee and the 'barista' puts the lid on it so that the mouthpiece is right on the seam of the cup!? That pisses me off.
