Justin Vernon, the man you know as "Bon Iver", is back with a new side project called The Volcano Choir.
They vocals are what you would expect from Iver...if you don't know what that means, you probably missed his fantastic studio debut, "For Emma, Forever Ago".
What's different here is that Vernon's ethereal vocals are on top of electronic loops put together by Wisconsins, "Collections of Colonies of Bees".
Less emotional, more energy...I'm looking forward to what their album ("Unmap" release date: 09/22/09) brings. One thing I know off the bat, it will be great.
